SAXOPRINT, a European leader in online printing services, has launched “Printing Real Lives” for Italy. Dedicated to anyone with a dream just waiting to be turned into a business, the project is an opportunity for budding entrepreneurs to present their ideas to a panel of experts composed of businesspeople, designers—including a Compasso d’Oro award winner—journalists, representatives of the public sector, and other experts in marketing, communications, and graphic design. The three best ideas will win a cash prize and a gift certificate to print promotional materials. Meridian Communications selected the experts for the jury and has handled all aspects of promoting the project both online and off, backed by close relationships with Italy’s leading press outlets and publications as well as with bloggers and other online influencers. To give even greater visibility to the project, Meridian Communications has also established major collaborations nationwide with prestigious figures from the worlds of media, marketing, and the graphic arts, as well as with other well-known influencers in Italy. All partners in the project have been promoting the initiative on their various social channels to generate even greater buzz around the initiative, and one of the leading communities of creative designers has also launched a contest within the contest to motivate its members to create high-impact graphics to go with the project’s official hashtag (#printyourlife).
